So excited! I just heard about this great online tradition and I just had to incorporate it into our family's holiday plans. Not certain how well it will turn out, but here's to giving it a shot.
The "Jolimond Family Yule Blog" is meant to be a way to record and share holiday photos, stories, memories and recipes even when our family and friends are scattered to the four corners of the globe. Admittedly, most of our family is within a few hours drive from one another during the holidays (with the exception of Grandma and Grandpa who will once again winter in Florida), but as the family continues to expand and move farther afield, it has become increasingly difficult to visit with everyone during the holidays. Perhaps the Yule blog will give us the opportunity to connect even if we won't be seeing each other this year!
And, speaking of Christmas! Can you believe there are just 46 days left until then? Yikes! So much to do. My to-do list is longer than Lindsay Lohan's wrap sheet. There's presents to wrap, stockings to hang, my new Elf on the Shelf to name, cookies to bake, music to hum along to, Xmas card photos to snap, parties to plan, trees to tinsel and countless other activites to attend to. I guess, I should start by pulling the skeleton out of my big tree on the front lawn....
